A favorite among Case collectors, the Trapper has been in production since the 1920s and is still a popular and utilitarian jack knife. Originally designed for trapping and skinning tasks, this lightweight knife is a solid all around user thanks to the versatile design. The Trapperlock is a one hand open, single blade folder with secure liner lock. Case has upgraded the pattern with the addition of Kickstart assisted opening for modern operation with a classic feel. This Trapperlock version comes with a Tru-Sharp stainless-steel blade and smooth Autumn Maple Burl wood covers.
Brand new directly from W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co.

Satin polished Tru-Sharp stainless-steel comes with a shallow hollow grind for performance and durability, with a textured thumb stud for right-hand opening. The blade deploys fast and decisively thanks to the Kickstart assist.
Handle:Â Polished Nickel Silver bolsters frame smooth, Autumn Maple Burl wood covers for a handsome, classic look. Supplemented with a stainless torsion bar for opening and stainless liner lock for safe use, the handles have standard brass liner construction. The front handle sports a polished Case Diamond shield.

Case Tru-Sharp:Â Case Tru-Sharp is another name for 420HC, a stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough for a stainless steel. With appropriate heat treatment, it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
