T.A. Davison Custom Jigged Amber Bone Satin CPM-154 Clip Point Slip Joint 4661

Todd Davison provides custom, traditional slip joint pocket knives that are truly handmade and one of a kind. Having produced over 1600 slip joint knives, Davison utilizes premium materials and offers exceptional quality and attention to detail in a timeless, traditional design. #2138 comes with a hand rubbed satin, CPM-154 clip point blade, stainless liners, bolsters, and shield and Jigged Amber Bone covers.

Blade: Finished in a handsome hand rubbed satin, the CPM-154 clip point blade opens via a classic nail nick and  comes stamped “T.A. Davison USA” on the front tang. CPM-154 offers solid performance with razor sharp shallow, hollow grind and clip point swedge.

Handle: Jigged Amber Bone covers are fit to polished stainless-steel bolsters over coined edge stainless-steel liners. File work on the inside of the back spring is a subtle detail, enhancing the custom feel. Stainless pins secure the covers, and the display side has a stainless Arrowhead shield for a classic feel. The back spring is smooth and solid with half-stop action and sits flush in all three positions.

Pouch: Includes a fleece lined nylon zipper pouch for carry and storage.

CPM-154: A particle metallurgy (PM) version of Crucible 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process. A great all-around blade steel, CPM-154 has D2 level edge retention, AEB-L level corrosion resistance and comparable toughness to other PM stainless steels with ease of sharpening/finishing.
