The TOPS Cockpit Commander is a small dual-edged fixed blade designed with a specific purpose in mind. The Cockpit Commander has a large finger hole making it difficult for an intruder or other criminal to take it from your hand. For this reason as well as its small stature and ease of concealment, it has become a favorite among lawmen and airmen alike. The full tang is composed of black traction coated 3/16″ thick 1095 tool steel. This tough steel forms a modified clip point style blade which also features a sharpened top edge (the top edge does not come razor sharp from the factory). A satin finish accents the top sharpened edge. Comfortable black linen micarta handles rest over white fiber liners, all attached to the tang via allen screw construction. Includes a molded kydex sheath with rotating steel clip.
